Facilities

The Station is having well equiped plant pathology, bio-technology, plant breeding, biocontrol, leaf tissue and soil analysis laboratories. One class B Agromet observatory is maintained in the station with important instruments for recording various weather parameters like rainfall, temperature, relative humidity, sunshine hours etc. An automatic weather station established by the India Meteorology Department (IMD) is also maintained here. A sales cum information centre is functioning at the station to provide information and technology guidance as well as to supply quality seeeds and planting materials
