The Department of Processing and Food Engineering, in collaboration with AICRP on PHET, organized a two-day programme titled “ReFoodure: Reimagining Food for Future” on October 15–16, 2025, to mark World Food Day. The event, aligned with the global theme “Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future,” was inaugurated by the Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering. Dr. Deepak Mathew, Professor (Cattle Breeding), KVASU, and other dignitaries graced the occasion. A special talk by Dr. Swathy V., M.D. (Ayurveda) on “Healthy Diet, Healthy Living” drew great appreciation. The celebration featured engaging student events such as quiz, poster making, food vlogging, photography, and sustainable cooking competitions, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm.
